Design

Every print that lands on pleats is designed by us.
We create original prints inspired by trends in graphic design.

Fabric

From 2021 onwards, all pleats are made from recycled polyester – fabric made from yarn created by processing plastic bottles. We estimate that about 48 bottles are needed to produce the material for one piece of pleats. The fabric is produced in a knitting mill in Łódź.

Why polyester? We want the pleats to work well during urban cycling, so we decided to use a professional fabric (used in the production of cycling clothes), which dries quickly and looks good after getting off the bike. In addition, only such material can be permanently machine pleated.

Printing

Once we’re ready with design and fabric we proceed to the printing stage. Prints are made with the sublimation method in a printing house near Łódź.

Pleating

After a short visit to the sewing room, the printed material
is sent for machine pleating, which also takes place in Łódź.

Sewing

The last step is sewing of the final product from the printed
and pleated fabric in the sewing room in Warsaw.
